14 December 2007: 16 weeks left
Neil has once again had the best week, having sourced some signs for the side of the van. For the rest of us, the year-end closings are starting to die down but the Christmas parties keep coming thick and fast.
Seb proudly proclaimed that cramp is a thing of the past after a 20 minute bike ride. He couldn't lift his legs on to the treadmill after the ride to test his belief but he feels confident.
John P continues to stretch his body beyond its threshold and if the scales in the gym are to be believed, he managed to lose a stone between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rhys dropped out of the Challenge for the fifth time on Monday after hearing that he would need to do a blood test in order to participate in the Paris Marathon.
Giles and Will emerged from their closing intact. Giles has been training hard but has warned the rest of the team that the cycle part of the Challenge may be "difficult". This is why he is our leader. Will has been lapping up the good times and is "hydrating" well.
Leon is back from skiing and is thankfully still in one piece - he was nearly shot coming down the mountain when mistaken by a local farmer for Big Foot.
Angus continues, without success, to try and get the rest of the team to take the cycling seriously. The take up for his proposed London to Brighton cycle on January 12 is three, of whom Neil is one.
Steve has been smirking a lot at the sight of the rest of us going through hell in the gym.
John D has been found... in the gym. He is miles ahead of anyone else (other than Steve).
It is now too cold for Pat to train. He is back from Sri Lanka and shivering in his office. While he was there, he tried to get a photo taken with the England Cricket Team - this is as close as he got...

The team run was cancelled for the third week in a row but confidence levels are high.
