LEON FERERA

Leon created history in 2005 by becoming the hairiest man ever to complete a marathon. Like many others on the team, he has never cycled before but his reasons are unique. His extreme hairiness creates a vortex of wind resistance greater than the force that his little hairy legs can apply to the pedals. It will therefore be a victory of mind over physics when he makes it back to London.

Note: Following the Monkeygate scandal, the image of Leon from a few years ago has been restored below. As Mark Twain famously said, "in discarding the monkey and substituting man, our Father in Heaven did the monkey an undeserved injustice".
